How We Built a Startup Site in 11 Days
June 28, 2026
Eleven days from brief to live site.
Here is the breakdown of a recent startup build: six pages of custom React, SSR on Cloudflare, Stripe checkout, brand photography, and a working contact form.
Day 1-2: Brand and structure. Read the brief, wrote the brand strategy (archetype, voice, palette), scaffolded the routes. No approval loops. Just decisions.
Day 3-4: Seed the content. Planned the full page catalog before writing a single component. The site was designed against real data, not empty states.
Day 5-6: Image production. Brand photography for hero, product cards, and lifestyle sections. About 40 minutes of prompting, 60 minutes of generation.
Day 7-9: Frontend. The pages. Two parallel builds: one for the homepage and shell, one for the product and content routes. Real React Router v7, SSR. Not a template.
Day 10: Review and fix. Responsive QA across four viewports. Contrast checks. Applied the findings.
Day 11: Deploy. Live at the custom domain. Analytics running.
Fixed price. Custom code. The client owns it.
That is the process. Every project runs this way.
